The mission of ReadyNation is simple: Prepare families to survive and recover from disasters. We accomplish this goal by providing families a comprehensive set of disaster preparation products and services that are of high quality and easy to use. We summarize the best emergency and disaster preparation advice from government, nonprofit and private sectors into a a set of online tools that make disaster preparation easy and affordable. And we offer the highest quality emergency kits and emergency supplies as recommended by disaster officials.
Our History
The ReadyNation team and their families live in areas that are considered very high risk for natural disasters including the states of Florida and California. Our families and friends have been impacted severely by disasters, and we live knowing it’s not a question of whether disasters will strike, but when. In addition, our families and friends were personally impacted and moved by the events of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, as we struggled to make sense of the disaster and witnessed ordinary citizens reaching out to help each other survive and recover from these disasters where government could not. As a result of our experiences, we reached inside ourselves and out to our families and friends in need and asked them what they needed to be better prepared to survive and recover from the next disaster. We combined our personal research with the best information and advice provided by government, nonprofit agencies and private individuals to create the ReadyNation online tools and emergency kits and emergency supplies for our families, friends and communities. We encourage you to utilize the time and effort we spent to make it disaster preparation easier for you to safeguard your family and property from disasters. Disaster preparedness works to save lives, minimize damage, safeguard your investments, and speed your recovery.
At ReadyNation, we realize that the field of personal disaster preparedness is new and constantly evolving. We are committed to providing your family the latest and best products and services. Community Involvement
ReadyNation supports organizations and causes that are making an enormous positive impact on helping our families prepare and recover from disasters. ReadyNationTM commits to donating 10% of our profits in product and cash donations to assist these nonprofit organizations in their heroic efforts.
